"Say We believe in God and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and I`saac and Jacob and the Tribes, and what was entrusted to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and to Him we have surrendered."
(Quran 3: 84)
How can you disbelieve in Allah?
Seeing that you were dead
And HE gave you Life.
Then He will give you Death
Then again will bring you to Life
(on Resurrection Day)
And then unto Him you will Return.
[Holy Qurán 5:32]
This section is a collection of articles
and/or references for
the Unbiased Curious minds, but those who fail to recognize the presence of the
Creator of this wonderful Universe. The biggest fallacy that a human being can
make in His life is to be ignorant of the 'purpose' of his/her existence. The
purpose of life can be comprehended only by making use of our most important
faculty: 'the intellect', and by reflecting on the relationship of
the human with the universe he/she lives in. The Qurán (divine revelation to
Muhammad) thus not only upheld, but also encouraged keen observation and
investigation of the micro & macro systems in the universe to be convinced
of the truth of God's message: Islam.
At the onset, let it be noted... that the Qurán's assertions about Creation ARE NOT THE SAME as the Biblical
assertions of Creation. So, If you have been reading anti-creationist
literature by evolutionists, it most probably refutes christian claims and not
islam. Besides this section, you may also like to visit Science and Islam.
Islam on 'Scientific Enquiry'
History bears witness that Islam never prevented scientific
enquiry, on the other hand, actually demanded it.
At the outset, it should be understood that Islam's position on
the question of 'Biological Origins' is NOT the same as the Christian
position. Islam teaches belief in God and God's necessity and sufficiency for
the existence of the splendid universe. While the Quran does not reconcile with
the proposed mechanism of uncontrolled chanced evolution, at the same time, it
must be stressed that many of the propositions of modern science are in complete
conformity with the statements of the Quran, such as that life started from water and
the development of human-beings in stages. Thus, for
understanding the Islamic position on 'biological origins', it is necessary to
study the relevant Quranic verses in detail.

The Existence of God
Islam teaches that the existence of God can be known through His
numerous 'signs' or 'evidences' in the universe. God does not have a shape or
size or form. He is not trapped by the space-time dimension in which we are
trapped. Islam makes us observe everything around us, and then claims that all
the beautiful micro- and macro- systems in the universe proclaim the presence of
a beneficent and merciful Creator, without whose beneficence and mercy, nothing
in the universe could have ever existed. Infact, Islam claims that God is the
'necessary' as well as 'sufficient' condition for the existence of everything in
this Universe. Can anyone disprove this claim?
[Note:
those who think the Theory of Evolution gives an explanation are mistaken and
are invited to study Islam's arguments of God. Although many Muslims have
attempted to write essays and articles to explain this, the book with the most
powerful arguments is the Quran itself.]
THE
SCIENTIFIC CASE FOR GOD I can best describe this article as "A
Whack on the side of the head". It certainly makes one ponder whether
we actually acknowledge Scientific facts and findings or do we treat them as
just another Hollywood fiction. A must read article, especially for those who
have been fascinated by the science of the universe and astronomy, although
the article is with an Islamic perspective.
God prior to Religion
Another wonderful article demonstrating a logical
acceptance of God is essential before acceptance of any Religion...

live your life,
One is as though nothing is a miracle, The other is as though everything is a miracle."
