"Say We believe in God and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and I`saac and Jacob and the Tribes, and what was entrusted to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and to Him we have surrendered." (Quran 3: 84)

Dawah: Inviting all to Islam

"Invite to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." [The-Qur'aan, an-Nisaa'(16):125]

'Dawah' literally means "Inviting people to Islam". The Qur'an is Allah(swt)'s message for the whole humanity to come till the end of this world and it has laid great emphasis on Dawah. Infact a Muslim's life is supposed to be a "Dawah" for mankind. There are different levels at which individual Muslims can do Dawah. It is hence essential to understand the basic principles of Dawah. It is hoped that Muslims would benefit from the articles below insha'allah for the purpose of Dawah. As a starting point, you may read Getting beyond Private Life by Sheikh Yusuf al Qaradwi
