"Say We believe in God and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and I`saac and Jacob and the Tribes, and what was entrusted to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and to Him we have surrendered."
(Quran 3: 84)
Nature of Islam: Islam, we hope you will realize, is not
just a spiritual movement, but also a social movement. Its principles are such
that not only call mankind towards personal spiritual development, but also
exhort them to establish a kind and just socio-economic structure for the
benefit of all
creations of God. It is because of the coherent nature of the Islamic framework,
which combines the spiritual with the worldly, that it continues to appeal to such a large section of humanity throughout history.
