"Say We believe in God and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and I`saac and Jacob and the Tribes, and what was entrusted to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and to Him we have surrendered."
(Quran 3: 84)
There is no compulsion in religion, for the right way is
clearly distinct from the wrong way. Whoever therefore rejects the forces
of evil and believes in God, he has taken hold of a support most
unfailing, which shall never give way, for God is All Hearing and Knowing.
(Holy Qurán 2:256)

Islam and Other Religions - by Shaheed Ismail Raji al Faruqi
There is a lot of misinformation as

intolerant towards other faiths, aims to spread religion by force. Such could
only be far from the truth. This article excellently explains the position of
Islam regarding other religions and their followers.

Muslims and Jews - A Historical Perspective that reveals surprises Source: www.Soundvision.com. This essay reveals the history of cooperative and peaceful relations between Muslims and Jews with the advent of Islam in the 7th century C.E, and counters "the very widespread popular notion that present day Arab-Jewish hostility is but another chapter in a long history of mutual animosity".
No compulsion in Religion
This article explains Islam's position through Quran & Hadeeth (Traditions of the Prophet) that religion cannot be forced upon
anyone and gives an
answer to commonly misquoted verses from the Quran by anti-Islam authors.
Yet if God had so willed, they would not have
ascribed Divinity to aught besides him; hence, We have not made you their
keeper, nor are you (of your own choice) a guardian over them. (Holy Qurán
6:107)
The Concept of
God in various world religions
We see there are so many different religions existing in this world
today. The differing views of major religions starts
with "their concept of God" which can be found from their
respective sacred religious scriptures. Hence, the first thing that needs
to be talked about is the Concept of God in various religions. For a Comparative
Religion study, this is the starting point.

[Yes! they also need to have a logical concept of God otherwise how can they deny it.]
Say: O People of the Scripture! Come to an agreement
between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah, and
that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us
shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then
say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him,
i.e. we are Muslims). [Holy Qur'an 3:64]
We have a nice collection of reference material for people of
different faiths and students of comparative religion to compare & test them
against Islam. Please do not use this material in a manner that might be
insulting or abusive to someone of another faith.
