Principles of the Islamic System

Nature of Islam: Islam, we hope you will realize, is not just a spiritual movement, but also a social movement. Its principles are such that not only call mankind towards personal spiritual development, but also exhort them to establish a kind and just socio-economic structure for the benefit of all creations of God. It is because of the coherent nature of the Islamic framework, which combines the spiritual with the worldly, that it continues to appeal to such a large section of humanity throughout history.

Serve No gods besides the "One God"

And verily We have sent among every nation a Messenger proclaiming Worship Allaah Alone and avoid all false deities. (The Qurán 16:36)

The most important concept of the Islamic system is the Unity of Godhead. This unity of Godhead is called as Tawhid (Oneness of God) in Arabic. It is the backbone of Islam and of all Islamic principles. It is the basis of unification of mankind and the only acceptable way for God for the progress and salvation of human civilization establishing universal principles of dignity, justice and freedom for all.

Humanity as "One Community"

"O Mankind! Most certainly, it is We( God Almighty) who have
Created you all From a single (pair) Of a male and a female, And it is We (God almighty) who have made you into Nations and tribes, That ye may recognise each other (Not the ye may despise each other.) Verily the noblest of you In the sight of Allah Is (he who is) the most Righteous of you." [6]

The Cornerstone of 'Justice

Be just, for justice is nearest to piety. (The Qurán 5:9)

Ultimate 'Purpose' of Life

Know you (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; you will see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of Allah). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception? (Surat al-Hadid: 20)

Ease & Balance in Following Islam

...Allah desireth for you ease, He desireth not hardship for you... (The Qurán 2:185)

NEVER PLEAD IGNORANCE

by Harun Yahya

People sometimes plead ignorance of some faith-related facts:
be sure you don't.

112 PAGES WITH 74 PICTURES IN COLOUR

Never plead ignorance ...of Allah's evident existence, ...that everything was created by Allah, ...that everything you own was given to you by Allah for your subsistence, ...that you will not stay so long in this world, ...of the reality of death, ...that the Qur'an is the Book of truth, ...that you will give account for your deeds, ...of the voice of your conscience that always invites you to righteousness, ...of the existence of the hereafter and the day of account, ...that hell is the eternal home of severe punishment, ...and of the reality of fate.

* pbuh - Peace be upon him; It is a Muslim practise to convey prayers of peace whenever the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and other prophets is taken.
